About

My name is Brandi.  I am a mom of 4 beautiful children & a wife to an amazing Man.   My ancestors are native american and my great grandmother gave me a name of “Angel of Light”.  I want to live up to this name. The best way I can do that is to tap into my spirituality & love that I feel for all other living spirits. Human & Animal.

I hope that by reading this blog you will feel a connection to my love & my strength and allow yourself to tap into your own Love & Strength because I truly feel that we are Living On the Verge of Extinction. Our species is in a desperate state right now, somehow we have let the most important part of being a spirit fade… Love.

Now don’t get me wrong, we all “love” to some degree or another. Mostly we love our spouses, children, family. But what about all the other living spirits on this planet?   Religions are killing each other right now in the “name of their god”. Well the root of all religion is LOVE, love does not hate, love does not kill, and love does not breed grief & loss.  Daily people & animals are hurting or dying from the hands of both strangers AND of people who are suppose to love them.

I am sure you have heard the saying “Revenge is poison for the soul”.  Well, I believe this to be true, but I also believe it is true for hate, cruelty, killing, and the worst, IGNORING.   So I want to share a story with you, maybe you have heard it and maybe you haven’t but it is one that has stayed with me for many many years now.   ❤

A man is walking along the beach one day after a large storm had hit the night before.

Along the beach there are thousands of starfish that were washed up on shore due to the storm.

Off in the distance the man sees a boy running as fast as he can on the beach and throwing something into the ocean.

As the man gets closer he sees that the boy is throwing starfish into the ocean.

The man approaches the boy and asks him “Boy, what are you doing?”

The boy replies with “Sir, these starfish will die if they are left out on the beach in the hot sun!”

The man then watches as the boy picks up another starfish and throws it back into the ocean.

The man laughs a little and says “Boy, there are thousands of starfish and miles of beach, what difference does it make.”

As the boy throws another starfish back into the ocean he says to the man “Well, it made a difference to that one!”

We don’t have to change the world, we don’t have to save every spirit, but each one we do save makes a difference to that spirit and THAT is good enough for me!
